Realization

I was recently hurt in the most painful way possible. I won't explain the details but let me say that out of 7billion people, this may happen to only several people. This sadness made me come to a realization. I always push and talk about forgiving others. It is very easy to hold on to revenge because forgiving is a difficult task. It takes alot of mental energy. Trust me, even I, who is a hardcore believer in forgiveness finds it difficult to do as I say. But I am doing it. One doesn't have to be Jesus, Mohammed, or any other prophet to have total forgiveness and love in him. It just takes alot of mental power. I believe in you guys. If you are a fan of my blog, then you definitely think the same way as I do and I just want to say to you that I BELIEVE IN YOU. Let's make this world less hateful for the next generation :)

Conversation with Homeless

When turning a blind eye to the homeless, ignoring the problem is not the only way to avoid discomfort. Much more common, and arguably even more harmful, is just saying they should "get a job". It's much more comfortable to label someone as "lazy" and therefore different than how one views oneself. When you label someone who is suffering as fundamentally different, it is much easier to justify the sub-human living conditions as somehow deserved. And if they deserve it, then it's not your problem, right? If you want to maintain this illusion - never actually have a conversation with a homeless person.

I dont understand some republican politicians. WTF did they think would happen if a parent is not ready to have a kid or if those people are being born in families that are financially unstable? sigh. This just baffles my mind

They really contradict themselves as candidates. They make claims like "Obama is waging a war on religion! We want religious freedom!" but then they want laws in place to make Christianity the official religion of the U.S. or to put creationism in our schools. They claim they want freedom but then expect to impose their beliefs on everyone else. Then there is the case of intervening with Women's healthcare and rights. Republicans make claims about how they're tired of "BIG GOVERNMENT" interfering in day to day matters but what they want for women's health is the ultimate invasion of privacy and the exact definition of "BIG GOVERNMENT".

Definition of Greatness

Greatness is not found in possessions, power, position, or prestige. It is discovered in goodness, humility, service, and character. You could have the most paid job in the world, have the biggest house in your city, gone to the best university there is; but greatness lies somewhere else. Do not forget the difference

I hope everybody could just move on. Learn from history but dont let discrimination to take over you. one cannot tell others to forget about their event when you clearly yourself cant forget about the event that impacted your life (like when people come to me and they say i will never forget what "muslims" did to us on 9/11 and yet go around and tell black people to forget about the slavery that happened long ago (but lasted a fucking long time.) 9/11 just like slavery has impacted many people and the effects of it still exists today. Being obsessed about 9/11 event has only created more hate and feeling of insecurity in this country than anything. The same applies with every horrible event in history. We need to respect history and learn from it. rather than hate, learn to love and to find solutions to fix the problems that still exist today because of those events, in the most moral way possible. Problems such as Privilege, insecurity, discrimination, and so on.

Why I Support Abortion

My response to a friend who was against it.

"now you can be prolife but being against abortion is just ignorance for the following reasons

it doesnt matter what you think jessica. your argument is baseless. you think its already alive and i think not. Youthink its murder and I think not. people who want to tell other people's rights for them are cruel. we will never understand them and the reason they have chose to do abortion and yet people talk big and think they understand other people's lives, thus saying abortion is cruel. some people do abortion because they were raped andnoone wants to give birth to a kid whose father was a rapist. they have already suffered enough and you want them to suffer more? some people do abortion because their own health is in danger and yet you are ok with them dying than a life that in my and many others out there, is not a life yet. That person could be a mother of some other kids and you are ok with her dying? also, condoms are not 100% affective and having more children could really make a family suffer in the long run. noone wants their kids to experience horrible lives.

ALSO women have the right to choose to have a child or not. A child may ruin a woman's career or her daily life. Of course, some women don't have the time to take care of a child. Sometimes the woman is not ready for a child yet. In other words, they may be still going more for their education. In addition, having a child means being more involved in the child's life, and some women don't have time for that. Instead, they may want more time for themselves.

there is also a problem with over population, having 1.3 million abortion IN US ONLY each year. Today the government loves to blame the poor for how the country is suffering economically. the poor doesnt get the education, they dont have enough money and they do not have health care. so you are ok with them being born and live those types of life? hey, if a mother knows she cant take care of it, why dont YOU ADOPT IT and take care of it. But im sure you wont, now will you? So rather than saying no abortion, why dont you give people a reason and support to have a baby so they know the baby will have a safe future.

look at teenage pregnancy, because of child birth many people cannot have the education they need because they need to take care of babies. and they are too young to do so.

rather saying no to abortion, teach people about safer sex so they do noT get pregnant and invest in medicines that would help the issue. In short, abortion is legal for two reasons: Because women have the right to make decisions about their own reproductive systems, and because they have the power to exercise that right regardless of government policy.

IF ABORTION WASNT LEGAL, ILLEGAL ABORTION WOULD TAKE PLACE and more women would be at risk and the child itself as well.

George W. Bush once said: "You are either with us, or against us." This has lead the US to ruin. This dualistic thinking is a disease and has corrupted people's minds. Soldiers returning Home

One of the greatest videos on Youtube that everyone seems to enjoy watching, such as myself, is seeing a soldier come back from war. The problem with that is they seem not to understand that during this past 9 years of war, many iraqi parents, did not get to come back home from just Grocery shopping.

Every Part of Body has a Purpose

God gave you eyes to see, a brain to think, hands to help out others, arms to reach out to others, legs to keep on walking, a concious to help you in your decisions. Every part of body should be used for a better purpose. Now if you are not using them that way, then you are not using them right at all.

True Sickness

You can call a person who is mentally disabled, physically disabled, is homosexual, and have many other things, sick, but I see nothing wrong with people who can show love to everyone. People who are healthy and cannot express love to everyone are the ones who have a disease.

The fact that she doesn't believe people when they say that she is.

The countless heartfelt prayers  uttered by long distant couples longing for reunion.

The money that i don't see in my hands

The fact that i'm working for money.

My Friend's Dream

"So I had the strangest dream the other night. I dreamed that this young hispanic mother suddenly began performing miracles like Jesus Christ and that a bunch of people started following her and pressuring her in all sorts of directions and she was scared and confused, until this college age very politically active Muslim guy and his girlfriend (who totally looked like you - even the guys girlfriend looked like your girlfriend) helped her out. Other stuff happened and I remember there being a very epic plot arc, but I can't remember most of the details anymore. All I remember is that it was very politically motivated, but through it all, despite all the crazy things that happened, none one of them ended up being influenced into changing their faiths, and apparently that was "the beauty of it all".

Now I have NO idea what that all means but I thought you would find it very interesting.

Just How Lucky Are We?

I am too "Democratic"?

Someone today said to me that I am too democratic for my own good. If Loving everyone and wanting everyone to have equal rights (like homosexuals and women) is democratic, then so be it. There was a time when people said whites are only supposed to marry whites and interracial marriage was forbidden but with time that changed. 
If wanting love and peace instead of war is democratic then be it, if loving everyone and valuing their life is democratic then be it. If realizing the wars are no longer Just and it only benefits the rich while our loved ones die is democratic then so be it. If realizing that Golden Rule (Luke 6:31) is the rule to live by is democratic, then so be it.
If understanding the fact that some people have too much money in their possession and still have greed while millions of people in this country and world wide die of hunger, disease and other things that people do not even worry about in their daily life is democratic, then so be it.
If putting myself in the shoes of oppressed is democratic, then so be it.

I see nothing wrong with my lifestyle, but the question is this, what is wrong with yours?

Do you do it weekly, monthly, regularly, do you do it by yourself or do others have to remind you, do you think of them daily, do you try to raise awareness for them, do you try to save money just to in order donate and do charity for them, do you imagine yourself as them and realize how much they need the fortuantes to help them? Do not tell me you help others in closed doors, only you and God know how much you think of them and have helped them. If you do not think of them enough, I hope in your next life or even this life, you suffer what they suffered daily and learn the lesson by experience

I know it is your mission to go around and tell everyone about "how Jesus died for us, how Jesus/God loves his children, how we should believe in them and ...." But realize you are only doing one thing that Jesus/God/any prophet did, and that is Spiritual awareness.

Do not forget that they HELPED people in MANY WAYS. Spiritual help is one thing, but do not forget that millions and millions and millions of people today are in need of physiological and safety needs. Your Prophet also did good deeds. DO THOSE AS WELL.

Dear Atheists

Dear Atheists,

to say that people who believe in God are ignorant is ignorance itself. One cannot prove God exists the same way that one cannot prove God does not exist. If seeing is believing then how about Oxygen? Yes, we did scientifically figure out it exists, and also in future we may find out more about God. Who knows right? We can all come to an agreement that the world is too complicated on certain topics for us to ever find out about.

So believe in what you believe, but more importantly believe in Morals. Do not just talk about morals, act upon them.
